Old Gringo
These boots are spectacular. I have been wearing this line for 20 years. Own many pair. They are absolutely gorgeous, the workmanship is outstanding. I did purchase a half size larger so I could add Dr Scholl’s cushioned insoles. I am ion my feet all day. With the cushioning, these are super comfortable. I get so many compliments. They are a work of art ?
Sora Red Old Gringo Boots
I bought these for my mom for Christmas. My mon does a lot for me and I know she loves the color “red” and Old Gringo boots are her favorite. I thought she was going to faint when she opened the box.

Not what you might think
So this boot is beautiful. I am anywhere between an 8-9. This has a super pointy toe and I bought 8.5 it fits perfect. very comfortable. They are not the color in the picture, they are the color of dried blood, almost brown. That being said, I still really love them and cannot complain. Extremely well made and you can tell just by looking at them. Worth the money. Highly recommend
Art for your feet
I looked and looked but could not find a pair of red boots I loved until I found these. They are simply gorgeous. I'm a size 8.5 and ordered that size. The fit is perfect. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Old Gringo Sora Red Boots
I own several pairs of Old Gringo and not only are they incredibly comfortable, but I get tons of compliments every time I wear them. I love this newest addition to my collection ... I've been wanting red boots for some time but couldn't find exactly what I wanted. These boots, as with all Old Gringo boots, run true to size, although I buy a bit larger to accommodate an insole and a thicker sock. You'll love them!
Never received
Horrible customer service, no emails, no tracking number sent. I ordered them because I wanted them for a trip that was 10 days away. It was listed as in-stock. As soon as I paid for them, it became "awaiting fulfillment". I waited a few days and checked my order. It still said "awaiting fulfillment," so I called. They said that they were sent out the day before. I asked for a tracking number and they didn't send one. I called again the next day and they said, "you should have gotten them." I told them I hadn't and I also got nothing from the post office. They then sent a tracking number and I did request a delivery date. They never came, even though I waited at nine all day. I had to leave the country the next day and I am in Europe now with no boots and out the money. I am not a happy customer!
true to size
Guided under recommendations to size up 1/2 a size, I did. I tend to have wider right foot (bunion) , and usually wear 9M and 9W in some shoes....these boots have a pointy toe and look narrow, so I decided to go with a 9.5. It was too big and heel slipping off with every step. Returned and did an exchange for a 9 and it fits perfect and still not too tight with socks. These boots are beautiful and definitely a statement piece!
Red Boots!!
I am a sucker for anything red that goes on my feet. I have have these boots open in my web browser for 3 years after I saw them on a Facebook post in one of my groups. It was lust at first sight. When my sister- in-law texted me the day after Christmas that they were 30% off, I immediately ordered. I usually wear a 9.5 but read that I should size up. So I went for a 10 hoping that I might be able to wear my homemade wool socks with them. Yes, I can and they were not as difficult to get on as I had expected. A boot horn is a must if you go for your regular size and plan to wear thin socks. I'm hoping that, because they are fully lined, they won't stretch. I've had numerous compliments. They look great with jeans, dresses, skirts and skinny jeans. I'll never wear them where they can get wet because I don't know how well the embroidery will retain the colors if wet.

Red Old Gringo
I originally saw these boots in a small shop in Paris, France for 200$ more! I couldn't stop thinking about them so, searched online to find them less expensive. These are great boots, they can go with so many things. I have worn them with dark and light jeans, short dresses and long skirts. They will catch the of eye of anyone looking!
Gorgeous boots!!
At my wedding reception this fall, the high heels will come off and these fabulous boots will go on!! The dark red base color is rich and warm, and the floral embroidery is lavish and beautiful. I'm gonna love dancing in these!!
Sweet Cowgirl Boots!
These are sweet & frilly for a pair of boots w/ excellent craftsmanship. I live in San Francisco and have received so many compliments. The fit and feel: I'm a 8.5 in Frye boots and shoes, these short Old Gringo boots run a wee bit big but not a lot big . . I was recommended to order a half size down and wear thin socks, however I choose to order my reg size and wear thick boot socks. I'm very pleased with my 1st pair of western cowgirl boots, and I'm thinking to order another pair.

NOT as red as you expect
Great boot, great comfort, everything EXCEPT the colour.... I was 'buying' a nice red boot and was so excited until it arrived and it was an oxblood/burgundy.
Being a Canadian buyer, with the exchange rate and duties on this side I paid just over $800 (CA).

FABULOUS Boot
The Old Gringo red sora is a fantastic boot. The 8" height is very versatile, and I love the red color. This boot really makes a statement, and every time I wear them, I get a ton of compliments. Well worth the splurge! Customer service @ River trail is great too. If you can visit their store, you will be blown away by all the beautiful boots and choices.

After searching for a size 10 (no on had them) Rivertrails responded they had 1 pair.When I read some of the reviews on this site as well as others, I was scared that my 'cankles' would not slide into the boot..like BUTTER they are!! Every girl needs a pair of red boots!
After searching all over for a new pair of Old Gringo's for my birthday, I found these at RiverTrail. I was surprised by the huge selection of styles and sizes that they carry. They had another pair that looked really similar on clearance, so I called to ask the difference. The gentleman I spoke to was really helpful in helping me decide I really needed this pair! This boot has a "walking heel," so after the first day I wore them, I was able to wear them all day at work, and I am on my feet all day. I have another pair of Old Gringo's that I wear at least once a week, and I'm sure this pair will be the same. The color is gorgeous, and the embroidery has so many different colors that I can wear them with just about anything. Always buy at least a half size bigger when you have a very pointy toed boot like this. I wear an 8 in slipper-type shoes, 8-1/2 if I'm going to wear socks, and a 9 in these boots. I also always put a squishy insole inside this type of boot (which probably is the reason they need to be a size larger, come to think of it.) Without the insole, the inside of a real leather boot is hard as a rock. A cowgirl boot should seem a bit "roomy," and your heel should slip up and down inside the boot when you walk. Actually, it feels kind of like a flip flop when you wear a good pair of cowgirl boots. I get a million compliments, and they are very comfortable!!
