I love these boots!!! i own another pair of Old Gringo and am so satisfied. very well made and the Manufacrurer is amazing. One of the studs came off and they replaced my boots!!

really hard to get on

Beautiful boots, great color, eye catching embroidery, but good grief, they are very hard to get on. As others did, I had them stretched because they are so pretty I could not bear to send them back. That's the reason for 4 stars not 5. If you love them, you will probably have to get a cobbler to stretch them. I wear a 7.5 medium, and other than the opening, they fit true to size.

I love them!

I was so excited when I first found these and knew I had to get them. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. They are just beautiful. You get so many compliments while wearing them. I ordered a 7 1/2 and it's a little hard to get the left shoe on, but once it's on, it fits perfectly!

I love all of the Soras!!

Firstly, I have over 30 pairs of OGs and booties. These were the tightest in the shaft the first time to put on. For those who have trouble getting these on at first here's some advice. I really had to twist and stretch them out a bit. I coated my feet with lotion and then put my foot in at an ANGLE not straight down and twisted and wiggled and voila!! They are gorgeous like all of my other Soras. I went up 1/2 a size because of the sintino heel and toe. They fit perfect. LOVE THEM. Rivertrail is the BEST!!

These boots are made for gawking...

...and that's just what people do.. Wore them to Tombstone where ladies love and sure care about boot culture...and nothing but sweet compliments and boot talk poured out for these little sora boots.. They're not flashy .but earn their attention way more subtly.. The floral sprays that adorn them take a bit to see and for people to believe they exist and are actually there and are that pretty..and that delicate.. Boots are hard to get on...so have your shoe horn ready..but once on...oohlala...good fit..

5 star look, 1 star fit

Wanted to love these. The embroidery and colors are stunning. The shorter 8" length is just right and a change from my other pairs. But I just couldn't get them on without great pain; actually bruised my foot trying. Read that others had a similar problem, but even multiple try-ons and wearing around the (carpeted) room did not make enough of a difference to keep such expensive boots. Back they went.

These are awesome gorgeous boots! The shaft is tight especially if you have a high instep. The boots are well worth the money as far as quality and style!!!! Once they are broken in, there is no taking them off, the're that beautiful.

These boots WERE made for walkin!!!!

Ohhh my gosh these are gorgeous!!! I love love love them!!!! I mean I REALLy love my boots!!! They are true to size, and like any new boot alittle stiff to get on. Ohh but I don't mind at all!!!! So worth the price!!!

Old Gringo Boots - Sora Brass Short

I was so excited when I ordered these boots! Although, when I received them in the mail I was doubtful I would be able to get them on due to the design of the very small opening to get your foot down into the boots. I called Rivertrail Mercantile to inform them that there must be a design defect in the boots. I spoke to Clint, who mentioned to keep trying to get the boot on. He said "put your foot in a plastic bag." Well, I did that and tried so hard to get these boots on, I strained and seriously hurt my back!! I had to pull so hard to get my foot through the very small opening at the top of the boots that I pulled my back out of wack. I will either have to cut the top of the boots to increase the opening so I can get them on my feet, or I wasted $450 of my hard earned money. Very disappointed in the manufacturing/design of this boot. I would be so easy to just make the boots with at bigger opening. Disappointed!!!

Awesome boots

Gorgeous boots

I wear a size 7 and ordered a size 7. They are true in size. Fit great. Very comfortable. They do take a little work getting on the first time. But I am go glad I ordered these gorgeous boots. I love them. Thank you Old Gringo and Rivertrail Mercantile.

Unique Boots

The boots are everything that I expected. I look forward to wearing them but needed to exchange for a smaller size due to my narrow foot. For those of you who have the narrow foot, you might consider going down a half size or two to give a snugger fit.

So glad I took the leap

I was afraid to order as have wide foot. I ordered a half size up. It was a little work to get it on first time. But once on felt perfect. I love the look and feel.

Super cute boots.. hard to get on!

Loved the boots but had to order a size up to get the boot on. The shaft is very tight and I still had to get it stretched in the bigger size to make it fit.

Beautiful boots!

I've been eyeing these boots for a while and finally took the expensive plunge to purchase them. They're absolutely beautiful, the colors are amazing! My only issue was getting them on, after reading other reviews I ordered my normal size 7 even tho some recommended going up a size. I have a high instep and did take them to get stretched in that area, I couldn't even get them pulled on. After the stretch thru the instep they fit perfect! The length & width are perfect.
