Gorgeous, lovely boots. I’m glad I waited to post a review until I wore them a few times. More stiff than my other Old Gringos, softened up after a few wears. Beautiful deep Jewel tones, flawless intricate embroidery, a bouquet on your feet! I would have kept them even if they didn’t fit and used them as a vace. Keepers.

Beautiful Boots
I just received my Sora Black boots and wore them within minutes of getting them. The vivid embroidery glows against the black leather and the detail in the flowers is amazing. I wore them to a store and three different complete strangers stopped me to say how awesome they look.
I waited for a sale and it was worth the wait. I love Old Gringo, and I love Rivertrail Mercantile!

I waited 4 years for these boots - I had major foot surgery to correct deformities and worried that these boots, beautiful as they are, would not be comfortable - but the ARE! I had rubber treads put on the bottom so they were less slippery especially on stairs, but they don't take away from these. If I could only have one pair, these are it!

the boots were gorgeous but did not fit, so basically I just spent $75 to try on a pair of boots. Be sure to read the return policy before you buy.
Sadly I won't be buying any more boots from Rivertrain Mercantile.

My husband got these for me for Christmas. This was pair number 11 of Old Gringo boots for me...and number 12 is coming for Valentine's Day. I wear size 8 in street shoes and 7.5 in boots...and these are true to that. The shaft is plenty big, even for my muscular calves (14-1/2") Comfortable immediately. Workmanship is fantastic on these. What a gorgeous combination of colors on this Sora boot. I love the Sora design, but this is probably the prettiest of all the color combos. Although, I do have the military green Sora boots coming next. I love flowers.

These boots are pretty online, but so much more beautiful in person. I was a little concerned about how bright the embroidery would be, because pictures aren't always accurate. It is bright, but just like flowers should be, not unrealistically so.

These are the most comfortable, eye catching, beautifully made boots ever!! I get so many compliments when I wear them! They are true to size. Wonderful customer service, well packed and tracked all the way to England. There are customs charges on delivery to the EU but these boots are worth every penny! Many thanks.

Stunning embroidery, soft supple leather...superb craftsmanship. Can't wait to show off. Suggest to try a half size down if you want a snug fit. I'm a size 10 and the 10 with no socks on has a little slip up/ down on the heel but comfortable and perfect with socks. River Trail was fantastic... Customer sevice was wonderful even saw a great video before purchasing these boots.

My second pair of old gringos LOVE THEM so pretty on . Have people stop me to ask about them. Ordered them on a Thursday got them on Friday.The embroidery is beautiful the colors are bright and so much fun. If u want them and are worried about the price don't be worth the money.
Perfect boots & perfect service
The embroidery is spectacular, the leather is soft, so comfortable to walk in them. If you are sometimes a 10, sometimes a 9.5 in shoe sizes, go with 9.5. I got a 10 at first and in was big, and here comes the "perfect service" part:-) they were amazing, talked me through sizing, shipped 2nd pair superfast and were nice!

I am hooked on Old Gringo!
I was hesitant to order these boots with out trying them on. I called River Trail and they gave me some great fit advice. These boots came in just a couple of days and fit perfectly! I'm an average-wide 9.5 and the 9.5 was made for my foot. The only problem is trying to pick only one pair of Old Gringos for my second order!
