I agree with the other review - the boots are darker than white (not white like the photos), but they pair amazingly with white. My mother was adamantly against white shoes, so white shoes scare me (funny the things that stay with us). Still, I wanted white booties for my many white things. These are so perfect. I tried them with some white knit pants (somewhere between leggings and pants), and these boots are great. The little flowers are super subtle too, which I like. The boots are classy and a little edgy at the same time. I've wanted some light colored boots forever, but never found them. I think these are going to be the light colored boots I've always wanted. The color is that -- light. It's not white. It's not beige. It's not taupe. It's not grey. But it's sort of all of them. Oh and I got them on a super sale (thanks for that, Rivertrail) thinking I've wanted another style I will never be able to get and that these would be a good substitute for white(ish) boots. It is a great surprise how much I like these. Happy me! Get them before they are gone.
