These boots are too cool. They fit like a dream and are super comfortable. I wear a 5M in Old Gringo when the heel height is 1 3/4", but I can go up a half size when the heel is higher. These fit perfect. Thank you Rivertrail for having such a great selection of boots that are in smaller sizes.
Let's begin with the AMAZING leather aroma filling my room the SECOND I opened the OG box. I love the color-it is perfectly distressed so it does not appear as "RED" as on the website which I love, it makes them even more of a neutral-Like a brown boot but a billion times better, and unexpected! I almost didn't buy these because of the website description of 13.5 inch shaft circumference. I went crazy measuring my calves, boots I already own, researching how to stretch boots, and finally said ENOUGH! And ordered. They fit like a dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 5'6, average proportions, my calf is just over 15 inches at the widest part, size 11. I measured the actual boot from the heel to the top of the pull tab and it measures 14 inches tall, and I measured the external circumference just at the height of the "phone" the skeleton is holding and it is 14.5 on mine. I hope this helps. They are VERY comfortable. I was tempted to buy the violet as well, but I wouldn't risk going down half a size-my regular size fits perfectly-I'm sure the 10.5 would be too small.
