Love these boots! They are even better looking than on the website, and beautiful quality. They go with everything. I initially ordered the wrong size, so contacted Rivertrail Mercantile, and 3 months later the correct size arrived. So shoutout to customer service!

Cute, fun, go with almost everything! Once you get the back heel area loosened up so you can get your foot in easily, they are soooo comfy! I will wear these a lot.

Yippee! I love these ❤️

So I waited a long time for these. I wanted my size to come in stock for awhile but low and behold I was finally able to pre-order. I’ve ordered at least half a dozen boots from Rivertrail and trust them implicitly. These guys are the cream of the crop for boots and customer service. As for the boots, they are dreamy. I’m a typical size 9 in boots and these were no different. The quality is superb and I can’t wait to wear them with my dresses and skirts. Just can’t say enough good things about them!

Beautiful boots.

First day to wear my boots and already got one comment of appreciation. The are very adorable, not too flashy but definitely one of a kind. Lower heel is super comfee for me. I am a true 8.5 in normal shoes, a 9 in Lucchese but was unsure about Old Gringo/Yippee Kay Yay. 8.5 was perfect. I would not have been able to keep a 9 on without an insole to take up the extra space. Wry pleased with this purchase.

Exchanging for the correct size

I followed recommendations thinking these are true to size. Exchanging for half a size smaller because these are must-haves, but the size I purchased are a bit too big.

Old Gringo Yippee boots

The boots are as pretty as the picture. I wear a lot of Old Gringo boots, but these are more narrow than any other Old Gringos that I have. Rivertrail is a great company to work with. You can get them on the phone, and they usually will give 25% off of the boots, which is a lot of discount for Old Gringos. I love talking to Rivertrail.

Adorable, comfortable, unique

Perfect fit and comfortable to wear walking for hours with a vintage-looking design - you’ll be one-of-a-kind wearing these adorable boots! My daughter (size 7) borrowed these from a friend for a Dustin Lynch/Thomas Rhett concert. She was on her feet all night walking a distance to the venue and standing/dancing for the entire concert and the boots were totally comfortable. I ordered the exact pair of boots for her the next day. She loves them!

Nice boot....

Love these boots but when I tried to put them on the 1st time, the pull strap broke on the L boot...had to send them back. BUT these folks are awesome with this issue, have another pair ready for me to ship up as soon as they receive the other pair. Will but more from these folks....actually have :-)

Great retro-styled boots!

I ordered these a half size down. I dance in my boots and need them snug. If I were to wear socks, I'd go with my regular size. They fit perfectly with anklet hose, and even though they were brand new, I danced the night away (4 hours straight) without a blister. I love Old Gringo. FYI: Lightening quick shipping.

Yippee!!!

I have always wanted a pair of Old Gringo boots and these have surpassed my expectation. I love all things vintage and these make me think of old time cowboys/cowgirls. They make me smile to see them even when they are just sitting in the closet. In addition River Trail's customer service was exemplary and the 25% off sale was the push that I needed to buy something that I really didn't need, but just wanted.

YIPPEE indeed!

I'm beyond happy with these boots! Anyone who loves vintage-y designs should grab a pair of these while they can. I'd never owned a pair of Old Gringo's before so I wasn't sure which size to order. I'm normally an 8 or 8.5, so I went with 8.5 and they're a perfect fit. I look forward to wearing them out and about soon! (P.S. Rivertrail Mercantile did a very nice job of boxing them up, and they arrived much faster than I expected. Yay!...or should I say YIPPEE?)

Oh my! These boots are my 3rd pair of Old Gringos from RM and all I can say is five stars to both RM and Old Gringo. These boots are true to size and very comfy. I just love them.

super cute!

Do not hesitate to buy these boots! I saw these while shopping in a western store, however and unfortunately, I did not have time to try them on. As another review attested also, these boots reminded me of boots from when I grew up! They are uniqely vintage looking and the pictures online do not do these boots justice! The colors are more rich looking and the brown leather which depicts the cowboys are distressed perfectly! After seeing these in person in the store, I literally could not get them off of my mind! Rivertrail mercantile shipped quickly and was a pleasure to do business with!

Boy howdy!

This are beautifully made and adorable. They run true to size. They are a little darker in the background cream color than pictured. I actually like them better. They now look a little more " vintage" which I love!!
