Old Gringo boots
I have been buying Old Gringo boots for my wife for many years because the size is always spot on and the break in is minimal. The many colors and styles available give my wife a lot of flexibility in coordinating an outfit. I found River trail mercantile about two years ago and they have become my only source for western style footwear, Their inventory, price, shipping time and customer service is unmatched in the online footwear market. I am sure I will have to expand my wife's boot shelves thanks to River trail mercantile. I wish I could give them more then 5 stars.

Fave boots ever!
I have 5 other pair of OG boots and these are literally my favorite pair. My others are beginning to feel left out. I even wear them around the house just to feel cool! DID have to utilize the plastic bag trick for the first couple of wearings; and every once in a while need help getting them off if I've had them on quite a while. But they are SOO. AWESOME.
Rockin' Boots
So glad I found these boots at 20% off; still pricey but worth eating Mac & Cheese for a month! Super soft leather inside, great scent when I opened the box. Intoxicating!! Yes. You will need a plastic bag to slide your foot in, but once in it is 100% comfort. The bird is leather, not embroidered! Can't wait for cool weather so I can wear these babies to work. In OG I always wear a 9M, and these fit perfect. In all other footwear I am a solid 9.5M.
Old Gringo Eagle Biker Boots
OMG! When I opened the box, I was in love! As someone who owns 100+ pair of boots, these are my faves. The leather is divine and the cool factor off the chart. As others have noted, they were difficult to get on but the plastic bag trick works like a charm and they are incredibly comfortable. I looked at this boot numerous times before purchasing, SO happy I went for it.
Gorgeous!
Saw boots online, fell in love with them. Received them, fell more in love with them. These are great!. I wear a 6.5 and ordered just that. I have a high instep so it's hard to get my foot in them. But once in, they fit perfect. Having them stretched a little to ease getting my foot into them.
What's Not to Love!
I read the other reviews before ordering...I typically wear an 8 to 8 1/2 in Old Gringo depending on the style, I decided to order the 8 1/2 since the reviews said that they were hard to get your foot down in. The reviews were correct, I do have a high arch so I loosened the buckle 1 notch across the throat of the boot and with a little pushing my feet went in! They are much easier to get off and about as comfortable as can be. 1st day I wore them, I wore them all day and no complaints from my feet! I know they will loosen/soften up with more wear, overall I am very pleased with them. Rivertrail Mercantile is a delight to buy from!
heartbroken
The most gorgeous boots ever. Cannot get my foot in them. They have a very low front so if you have a high arch and instep like I do you will never get your foot into them. I waited 6 months to have my heart broken. My Barney Rubble feet aren't getting in those boots.
Absolutely Fantastic Boots!
I just received my boots and I am beyond excited and pleased with them. These are by far the best boots I've ever owned and I've owned a bunch. They are beautifully crafted in worn brown leather- the smell is awesome ( if you love the smell of leather such as I do). They fit well and I know that over time with wear they'll fit even better. I've been wanting these boots and watching and waiting for them to go on sale, and I was finally able to purchase them. I'm so glad I did! My feet will be protected when I ride my bike but they'll also look fabulous! Thank you RiverTrail Mercantile!
Extremely versatile boots!
These boots are even better than pictures. Gorgeous boots which will go with many different looks! I normally order an 8 and ordered an 8 in these and they are perfect! I received many compliments when I wore these!

Rugged, Classic and Great Craftsmanship
These are gorgeous boots in a dark, weathered, brown leather. I wear size 6 in OG cowgirl boots, and ordered a size 6 in these, too. They fit perfectly, however they are extremely hard to get on the first few tries, so use the "plastic bag on the foot" trick, and it works like a charm. I also loosened up the strap over the instep to give myself a little more room.

Biker boots
Have tried other biker style boots these by far a fantastic! I ride my own Harley and rode in these boots all day very comfortable!! My husband liked them too! Woman along the way asked where I got them and of course I referred them to Rivertrail!!
My new favorite Old Gringo boots!
I have wanted these boots forever and actually wanted the red ones but could not find my size. When I saw these on clearance, there was one boot and it was in my size and although it was the tan color, I went ahead and got it. When these arrived I could not believe how great they are! I really love them morel than the red and they fit beautifully. They are my very favorite of my Old Gringo boots. the coloring and the workmanship are to die for.
My all time favorite boots
I saw these in Las Vegas 3 years ago and always wanted them ..I finally treated myself and I'm so glad I did ...most beautiful leather and amazing style old gringo is always making the perfect boots...these go with everything and fit my boho style!! Amazing customer service and super fast shipping too!!
Impressive customer service!
This was my first pair of OG boots, but certainly not my first pair of cowgirl boots! I was so excited to receive them, that I immediately unwrapped them to try them on. I have really high arches and I couldn't get them on at all! NO!!! I was hugely disappointed, but when I called to work out an exchange, the man was very helpful, and gave me some tips to get them on that initial time (a plastic bag...who knew?!), and assured me the leather would loosen up, and it would get easier. I'm so grateful he did that, as the boots are perfect! Love them! Sizing seems right on, and beyond that initial tightness with getting my heel down into the boot, they fit perfectly!

Truly the ultimate boot!
I am a boot freak, have at least 40 pair, most of them Old Gringo. But this boot is the ULTIMATE boot. It's timeless and can go with any attire from Western, Harley, Hippie, Patriotic, to Blazer outfit. I just love the boots. One heads up: I typically order a size 9 in pointy cowboy boots but these fit in 8-1/2. I almost want to order another pair in case they would stop making them. They could never go out of style.
