I wanted these boots for the pretty color combination and the fun butterfly design, and the colors are nice except the odd brown/yellow distressed toe (I put some boot wax on and it helped tone it down). But the fit and workmanship are a little lacking. The ankles are tight, the lining slips down inside the heelcap and are impossible to get seated unless you have a long shoe horn. The foot is large and sloppy, I wear these for parades and they look good in the saddle, but I wouldn't dream of walking around in them at length. The studs that adorn the front and back of the butterfly are held together with a rubbery thread, two have come off. I have great success with Corral, Old Gringo and other brands straight out of the box, but probably won't try Liberty Black again.

So perfect
Right out of the box these are perfect. I wear a size 7, bought a 7. The toe box is wider than snip toe boots and that made a super comfortable fit. Light weight boot, great heel. Colors are beautiful, goes great with blue, black and brown jean's. So many compliments too. I always have all my boots re-soled in front to give more grip on pavement and to protect the leather. You won't be disappointed with these boots. Really gorgeous!
Pretty but...
They are a beautiful turquoise color. They fit well. No slouch at the ankle, perfect height for me. Only 4 stars because I don't care for the way the brown "meets" the turquoise on the foot. Sort of like two different boots. If wearing them under jeans the effect is more noticeable and you also lose the whole "turquoise" effect. Sum up- I wear mostly jeans so I'm not getting as much use out of them as I would like.

Ordered these boots in a 9 1/2, which is what I wear in a normal shoe. I could not even get the left boot on past the ankle, and the right boot was very tight. I exchanged them for a size 10, and they are too big. The first pair was obviously a bum pair and I maybe should have exchanged for a different size 9 1/2. But I'm not going to pay another 30 bucks to send back again and shipping again for the new ones. But they are gorgeous boots and everything I thought they would be. The leather is very soft, and there is ample room for my 15+ inch calves. Gorgeous color and they look pretty much like in the Rivertrail pictures. They also come with a neat little canvas storage bag, which I did not receive in my second pair :( My second pair was obviously somebody else's exchange, since the paper inside was all wrinkled and torn. If you make an exchange, please don't keep anything as a "souvenir", because you're shorting out the rest of us, not the business.

Love these boots!! I love liberty black boots & their craftsmanship. It is really great not seeing my boots all over, they really stand out as unique. This is my 3rd pair of liberty black boots, but not my last!!
Captures Your Eye
This boot will capture eye for sure. I love the two rich colors of turquoise and blue combined. This blue is going to be fun to pair with all my dresses plus denim. I'm sure these boots will be turning heads when I wear them they are so pretty. Almost forgot they are very comfy to.

I have another pair of Liberty Black Boots and they are my go to.... they're the only ones I ever wear so I had to get another pair. They're super comfortable and well made!
Boot lovers boot
Soooo beautiful!! these are very unique looking boots. The color is gorgeous and the distressed black toe is just enough. They do run large so I am sending mine back for exchange from 9.5 to 9, I usually wear size 9.5 in western boots. The leather is very soft and comfortable. I tried on with thick socks, but I know boots stretch over time and these would just be too large. My first pair of Liberty Black, probable not my last.
Hot Boots
I couldn't resist ordering these boots even though they only had size 10 & Im a 91/2...I received in speedy time & am sooo glad I ordered them...I absolutely love them...I just put an instep in & they fit comfortably...get massive compliments when I wear them...very satisfied
amazing boots
These boots are so soft and comfortable, they don't have to be broke in because of the soft leather and are super gorgeous. I get compliments every time I wear them!!! Runs a half size big , I just added an inner sole !

These boots are stunning!! It took me a year to decide if I should order because they are so unique, So glad I did.. just love em!! I am 5' 10" and love the tall shaft. Vintage, country & stunning!!* My first time ordering Liberty Black, these boots are very well made, the colors are beautiful without being over the top. They run a tiny bit larger than my corral and old gringo snip toe but super comfy with a thicker sock. Lots of compliments too!!

Showstopper
These boots are great. They do run a bit big; however, I like to wear fleece sheepskin insoles (from Amazon) inside my boots for a cushiony, warm feel and to prevent my feet from slipping around inside the boot. There is plenty of room in these for the insoles to fit comfortably. The heel is higher than I'm used to, so these will require a bit of breaking in. I'm very happy with these boots, including the craftsmanship, fit, style, and unique color. I get compliments everywhere I go and have already referred several people to this site so they can get a pair too.
Very large
These boots are very large. I typically wear a size 9 in Old Gringo (for a great fit) and in Corral (a little tight). I do have one other pair of Liberty boots (Vegas Russian Blue Star Boot) that are comfortable in a 9 with a little room so I ordered a 9. But, these are huge. Maybe even a full size too large. I'm returning for a new size. The boot is stiffer than my previous pair. The color is interesting, but since they are so large it was a little hard to judge what they will look like on. Crossing my fingers I will like the new pair when received.
Beautiful Boots
I was hesitant to buy these boots, I wasn't sure about the color. But, I am so glad I did, they are spectacular. I fell in love with them as soon as I opened the box. I've already wore them and received compliments. I can't say enough about them, you won't be disappointed. I wear 8.5 in boots, fit perfect. I do like a little extra room though. Very comfortable, I wore them all day no sore feet. The color isn't as blue as the picture, which I was glad. These are one of my favorite boots in my closet. The detail is amazing and the quality is great!. First time buying a Liberty Black brand boot, I am very impressed!
