These boots are a darker red than pictured, but even prettier than pictured. They fit me perfectly, even though I hesitated buying them because of reviews that said they were hard to get on. I had no problem getting them on with my high arch. These are my new favorite boots.
This is my first pair of Double D brand boots. Anything with red has my attention and the color and design of this boot is rich and finely crafted. The size fits true. However, I do not have a high arch but getting the boot on was an effort. The ankle part of the boot shaft is narrow and the foot bed is hard with little arch support. There is room to add a foam insole which solves one of the issues. I hope that the narrow part of the boot shaft will eventually stretch to ease the struggle of getting my.foot inside. These boots are too beautiful to give up on without an effort to correct these issues.
