Beautiful colors
I Love the artwork and the colors on these bots! The coolest design ever - the snake! Very comfortable to wear. Had a question about my order, and customer service excellent and quick to respond. I love these boots and so happy Rivertrail still had them available! Had wanted them ever since I first saw them in a magazine years ago.
Better in Pics
The boots are comfortable and made well enough, true to size. They are very similar to CORRAL brand booties I have in terms of materials and construction. They are a lot more SUBTLE in person than in the photos....they aren't super stand-out in terms of color and noticability.....I wasn't really going for subtle but they are still beautiful and I'm going to keep them. I might try oiling them to make them a little more more POW.
Old Gringo Snake Zipper Booties
I recently made my first purchase at Rivertrail Mercantile for my very first pair of Old Gringo boots. Hands down I will be back for more! The service was fast, and informative at each step of the process. My boots arrived packaged beautifully and the box was not damaged in shipping (yay!). I ordered a 6.5 which is the same size for all my western style boots and they fit like a dream. I like to wear this pair unzipped 1/2 way for comfort. The only thing I would change if I could is a snip toe VS the pointed style. Otherwise I am extremely happy with this addition to my collection.
beautiful but funky fangs
these boots were a total splurge, so gorgeous but both snake dudes have fangs that look quite sloppy compared to the online images, am I the only one? They are super badass, Tarantino villainesque but at this price point, I expected them to be perfect I guess...

Worth it!
My first time purchasing Old Gringo, and my first order from RiverTrail. Both exceeded my expectations. The boots are worth every penny; beautiful detail and craftsmanship, soft leather, and true to size. I ordered 8.5 (my normal size) and they are perfect. Very snug in the instep at first and a bit of a struggle to get on (which I know is common/normal with boots), but the leather is so soft they are breaking in quickly. I have wide feet which can be a problem with some boots, but these are comfortable and feel like they are molding to the shape of my foot. I’m so glad I took the leap and ordered them! Received compliments all day the first time I wore them. RiverTrail shipped my order within an hour of it being placed, and my boots arrived in just a few days (ordered on a Friday, package arrived that Monday). If you’re on the fence about splurging on these boots (I was!), my advice is DO IT! Old Gringo won’t disappoint, and neither will RiverTrail!

Old Gringo Zipper Boot
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! They are beautiful! I originally bought a different Old Gringo pair in my true size 9 and ended up returning for a Size 8 1/2 in these boots and the fit is perfect! Right out of box, they are super comfortable and I can dance the night away in these! The design is amazing, customer service is spectacular! Old gringo snake
The workmanship is lovely. I originally wanted to regular cowboy boots but bought these do to rhe price difference. Then they send me a coupon code so I ordered the other style as theey were actually cheaper with the discount code. Now I will be returning these . I did not read the small print , just accepted the "terms and condotions" (was using my phone). Now will loose $65.00 to a restocking fee when I return these. Can't aggord 2 pairs of boots at this price, and certainly don't need 2 of the same design. Lost everything in Hurricane Harvey and this is the and will be the only pair of boots I buy. Learned an expensive lesson: Read the small print. Will not be doing business with this company again.

These boots are fantastic! Not only in the detail, but in the comfort and design. I am in love with these short boots! I have many pairs of short boots from Rivertrail, but these are the best yet. I had been waiting for them to go on sale. so when they did, I decided to buy them. I highly recommend these!

Too cool
These boots are super cool and fit right out of the box. Even my husband thought they were awesome. The detail is amazing and quality of Old Gringo is second to none. I ordered my normal size 6.5 and feel they were a perfect fit. My only complaint is that I feel like the support could be better for such an expensive pair of booties.

The shiny gold and brown dots really stand out and brown stitched swirls are beautiful.The snake head, teeth and tongue are somewhat muted colors that blend nicely. Love the zipper! Beautiful boot
I've wanted these for a while and finally decided to splurge when they were on sale! They are super cute and beautiful to look at I can't wait to wear them out to events and dancing. The heal is the perfect height (I can't do to high so I was nervous about that). I think they run true to size, I am an 8 so I ordered and 8 and think it fits good. I put an insole for heals in it and it made it a bit more comfy. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't have much cushion in the soles ( think after I put a insole in that it might help a little). Thanks for selling me a beautiful boot.
Tough and beautiful at the same time!
I have wanted to get a pair of unique and quality crafted cowboy boots for some time. I am new to them but have friends who own a few pairs. I had seen these boots a LONG time ago and just fell in love and couldn't stop thinking about them. I decided to take the leap and bought them. I am a half size (6.5) and some would say to size down, as I think they should fit snug. I prefered to size up and do thicker socks, just my preference. I bought the 7M. They are roomy if I don't wear a thick sock, but with the sock I like the fit. They are GORGEOUS in person and those snakes! Live them as much as I thought I would. I'm no expert but I know Old Gringo is a great high quality brand and so far I am hooked.

I had to wait 4 months for these boots and they were totally worth it. They are true to size and the detail is impressive. They are truly the coolest boots I have ever seen or owned. Excellent quality that I plan to wear for years.

This bootie is so much more than I expected. It is beautiful and extremely comfortable. I am beyond happy with this purchase have received so many compliments already! I am between a 7.5 and an 8, and I got the 7.5. It fit just slightly big, but it's fine with thicker socks. I also think that the 7 would have been tight. Gorgeous bootie!

Coolest boots ever made
Got these in a 10 so that my orthopedic insoles would fit (i wear a 9). They are gorgeous and easy to walk in. Though they are flashy, their muted colors give them a visual nonchalance that elevate them from novelty footwear to western splendor. I have never spent this kind of money on a pair of ankle boots, but they are totally worth it. brings out ones' bravado and swagger.
Snake Bite
Had wanted the full boot but Santa isn't for another 2 months so got the more affordable bootie and so glad I did. I have 6 pair of Old Gringo full boots (which I love each and every one!) and this is my first "Bootie". Great choice as Booties are Hot! So are these Snake Bites! Quite the conversation and statement boot. Thanks Old Gringo for another classic I'll wear for years!
