Been looking for a pair of red boots for years, Old Gringos are great boots, I own about 10 pairs and they are totally worth it.

These boots are so nice, but they are so tight around the calf!!! My calves arent even that big but these were difficult to wear and take off. Opting for the relaxed fit style.

Old Gringo Nevada Red
These are really cute boots and a very pretty, muted red color. I also like them because they’re a little bit shorter on the leg than my other boots. I will say, because I wasn’t paying attention and because there is not a zipper, I wish I had ordered an 8 instead of an 8.5 because these seem to fit bigger through the ankle and heel. No worries though, two pair of thinish socks and I’m ready to rock the town!
Gorgeous + Bunion tolerant
I bought these for my 85 year old mother and she loves them! Her favorite details are the more classic squared toe and the worn look of color and heel. The size 10.5 fit her bunion and didn’t trigger any pain. She couldn’t be happier with her first pair of real cowboy boots :) Shipping was fast and free. Highly recommend!
Nevada Red old Gringo Boots
Love the red color, almost a wine color,but not quite. Had been looking for a pair of red boots and these fit the ticket. Great price point! Old Gringo's sizing consistently not so great. These actually fit perfect, although comfort not horrible, but not great either. These are replacing my old red boots that are made of lizard. They are like butter. Hit the ground walking non-stop for 3 days all day when I 1st got them! No break in. Alas the stiffer leather these will not be that way. They will work as I really like the way they look.

These are the perfect red, more of a brick red than a fire engine red which is so classy! I have found so much stuff in my closed to wear with them and can't wait to get to wear them for the first time! I have the leapordito in a 5.5 which are a tad small so I got these in a 6 which is my normal size and I think these will be perfect and comfortable with some thicker socks. Great shipping and customer service!
The Perfect Red Boots!
Love these boots because they are not bright red, a darker red which is not overbearing. They fit very true to size since I have a few Old Gringo's these fit snug. The qaulity and workmanship is great and Rivertrail has the best customer service this is my 4th pair I bought from them. When I couldn't place my order on their form I emailed them, they got right back to me. I always recommend Rivertrail.
OMG! Love these boots!
I have wanted a pair of Old Gringos for years, specifically the red Nevada. I finally decided to get them and I am beyond pleased! I have owned several other brands of cowgirl boots but I can tell you that Old Gringo has the best quality. Well worth the money. They are perfect in every way. I am officially addicted to Old Gringos and am already saving for my next pair! Rivertrail Merchantiles service is great and the shipping was fast, I got my boots sooner than expected, just in time to wear them for the Fourth of July!

Perfect Red Boots!
These really are the perfect red - dark and delicious! Because the cream stitching is subtle, you can wear these with anything. Love them with my dark wash MM jeans and navy print shirt - they are the perfect pop of color! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they fit looser than all my other size 6 OGs. I even ordered another pair size 6 but they fit the same - looser in the foot, heel and shaft. RT didn't have a 5.5 in stock to try, but I'm not certain I could wear a 5.5 as the length feels right in the 6. I can always wear a thicker sock or insert if needed. Service from RT is great, as usual! Love the sales and have my eye on another pair or two already..... :-)
OLD GRINGO & RIVERTRAIL MERCANTILE - A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN
Got my Nevada Red Old Gringo's on Saturday. As with every pair of Old Gringo boots it was love at first sight. I have ordered four pair from Rivertrail Mercantile and could not be happier. The boots fit a little snug for the very first try on but once I got my feet in them they were perfect. Just need to break them in a little. I can't say enough good about Rivertrail. Great prices, great customer service, great products! I'll be back because I need black pair and a pink pair. Keep posting those discount codes and I'll keep shopping.

Just got these and the color is the PERFECT shade of red. Just like all my OG's they came broke in within 2 wears and the leather is soft.I have athletic calves and these fit from first wear perfectly. They fit TTS. These are the perfect red boot to wear with dresses or skinny jeans. RTM has great customer service as usual!
LOVE Old Gringo-minus one star for lack of padding
I have 6 pairs of Old Gringo boots because their style and quality is the best. I hate the fact that there isn't ANY padding on the foot bed, but I continue to buy them regardless. The leather breaks in fast, like a day or two, and you will always get compliments on them! The red color is great. It's deep and rich, not obnoxious clown red. I think that the Nevada style seems to run a tad smaller than some Old Gringos. I either wear a 10 or 10.5 in Old Gringo boots. This pair I need a 10.5. I tried a 10 in a store, and it just was too tight. The 10.5 was perfect. LOVE RIVERTRAIL MERCANTILE!!! They are the only people who ever have larger half sizes IN STOCK on Old Gringo, they have EXCELLENT customer service, great prices, and SHIP FAST! Rivertrail Mercantile is my favorite place to buy boots!

Old Gringo is second to none, and these Nevada Reds are no exception. Quickly became a favorite out of my 10 pair. Fit is true to size, the style is very versatile, and the color is a true red. Not brownish or bright, just a deep, true red, and the cream stitching is beautiful! Photos could never do Old Gringo’s justice as far as quality, style, and the rich color.

Perfect Red!
These Old Gringo's are the perfect red!...not to bright, not to orange or pink, just a perfect dark-ish red...and not shiny either! They definitely fit true to size. I'm normally a 6.5, but just about all my cowboy boots are a size 7, which I ordered originally. I had to send them back for the 6.5 which fit perfectly! RiverTrail was very helpful and the shipping is quick!
love my new boots
Bought these boots for 380 and they fit beautifully. I think they do run a bit narrow in width because I have narrow feet and am having no problem them. I can wear just one pair of skinny socks without padding the heal. I bought a half size larger for extra toe room and am glad I did. Overall I am pleased with my new boots.
Love MY GRINGOS
Waited two years to find the "right" red cowgirl boots, with the "right" heel all leather and at a decent price. I found it when I bought my Old Gringo Nevada Red Boots. As a bonus the people at
RiverTrail Mercantile went beyond normal customer service helping with size selection and speedy response and shipping. I have had cowgirl boots in the past but these are well worth the extra money. When I save up again for another pair of boots I will definitely go straight to RiverTrail Mercantile and save a lot of time shopping around because they are the best! The Gringo Boots are true to size and feel great on my feet straight out of the box.

My Old Gringos arrived a week ago and I have barely taken them off. They are gorgeous boots that look great with almost everything. They fit true to size and the shaft is smaller than most which was a plus for me because my calves are very small. Besides being thrilled with my boots, I would like to say my experience with RiverTrail Mercantile was outstanding. Several internet retailers carry this boot, but RiverTrail Mercantile offered the best price and they overnighted the boot to me so I could have them ASAP. One of the other retailers takes up to 45 days (!). I will never buy a pair of boots elsewhere.
