I debated long and hard about buying another pair of Old Gringo boots at this high price, but I am so glad that I did. They fit like a glove as all my Old Gringo boots.and I am thrilled they come in small sizes. Have had people stop and ask me about my boots with wonderful compliments. Highly recommended.

Old Gringo Boots are the best!

I'm sure getting kicks from my super-cool-stylin' Old Gringo's Route 66 boots! They are beautifully crafted and eye-catching. I am no stranger to Old Gringo boots as I own five pair. They are worth the slightly higher price. (I haven't bought another brand since my first O.G. purchase, and without counting, I'd say I have at least 12 pair of boots.) I wear a size 10 women in dress shoes and my foot is on the high side of medium width, but I order Old Gringo boots a half-size down (9.5) because I dance in my boots and want them snug and they do stretch. I have read some online complaints that OG has decreased their calf-width, but the calf-width is perfect for me. In my mind, there's nothing worse than a gapping boot. I can tuck in my jeans from skinny to bootleg and there is still additional room for athletic movement. I am 5'7" with dancer's calfs. I am on the low side of normal weight. One whole size down would be too small foot-wise not calf-wise. At first, I wear my O.G. boots with nylons or thin socks and as the boots stretch and mold to my foot, I wear regular non-athletic socks. Not only are these and all my Old Gringo boots unique, they fit perfectly from the first wear. I never get blisters or painful sore spots which is saying a lot since I'm in a state of continual motion that includes hopping and jumping while they are on my feet. Rivertrail Mercantile has a lightning-quick shipping policy. They usually get my boots to me within three days of placing the order. Rivertrail personnel respond promptly to email inquires and provide an accurate tracking system. I can't comment on the return policy because I've never had a return. They are my go-to boot suppliers! Totally stylin' boots in the larger sizes are hard to find in-store and just because my feet are length-challenged doesn't mean I don't deserve the best. (Wish I lived closer to Rivertrail.) If you like beautiful boots, plenty of compliments, and a customer-first company to deal with, get the Route 66 and all your boots here.
